Momma Drama

Friday, June 23, 2006 @ 6:22 AM

Please, do not let it be a train....

I see some light at the end of the tunnel. Please let me enjoy it before the next onslaught of shit. Mainly Dave's parents, who are being hauled up here as I type from FL, by Dave's sister. Dear God and baby Jesus, help us all...especially Dave.

After today I have Sat-Sun-M-T-W off, and the "never-ending-mother-fucking-bedrooms" project should be done. Done as in, cleaned up, primed and painted. I think it will be mattress city until we can get down to Art Van in the big city though. Or we may just go local. I refuse to move one damn thing into the girl's room until they have some dressers. Bed sets would be a real bonus, but at this point having started the project more than 3 months ago I'm not going to be really picky!

Have great weekend all!

Scratch that whole "Giving up the Clerk gig" thing...

Oy!

Tuesday, June 13, 2006 @ 3:15 PM

It has been decided.

I will be giving up the Clerk gig. Very soon. Hal-lay-lou-ya!

In other news, my eyesight is 20/15 as of today. Thank God for Lasik!

My child is a flying monkey!

That's right, child #1 is now a flying monkey. He auditioned for and was cast in the "Small town theatre" production of The Wizard Of Oz. Go Trent! He is pretty stoked about it...he'll be rigged up by a harness and wire and actually fly.

The vacation is going smashingly so far. Last weekend was the very first weekend we've all had together in 2 months. It was very laid back and relaxing. Saturday was the "Small town celebration" here in town. We did the parade and the craft show. Then we spent QUITE a few hours at the audition. Sunday was church, grocery shopping to SURPRISE!, picking up our two new kitties. Yikes...we are up to three cats now, dangerously close in numbers to my sister and DMouse. ;) That brings the zoo up to three cats, 2 birds and 4 (temporary) tadpoles right now.

Monday was clean the laundry and storage rooms/swim yer butts off for the 8 and under set day. Yesterday was living room/cookout at a friends house day, then off to Trent's ballgame. Today was kitchen/playdate here at our house. We made salt dough and all three kids managed to make Dave's Father's Day gift. Momma's gift to him was getting the motorcycle fixed. Ours is candy apple red.

Tomorrow is head to the big city with my girlfriend and her granddaughter and my big two. Hobby Lobby, Joanns, the mall, Target. It's all good no?

In other news, I'm weaning off the Paxil and coffee. God help us all. Trying to increase the water and in dire need of some diet and exercise.

Happy Thursday all!

Ahhh.

I'm on vacation this week. With the kids. Didn't I just have 5 days off over Memorial weekend? Why yes...yes I did. Life is good.
