Momma Drama

Dave and I hunked down to watch "Lost Season 2, Disc 1" tonight. It didn't take long for me to figure out that I hadn't realized there was a "Season 1 Disc 2"...damnit! We watched it anways, it's to good to wait.

I'm surrounded by death lately, and it's taking a toll.

First it was our birds, George and Wheezy. The kitten managed to get to them while we were all away for the day. Dave and the kids came home to that horror. Next it was 3 patients, all within the same week or so. Two of them too youg to be passing away. And the third due to possible stupidity. And then there is a brand new (to the practice) Dr. that just moved this way and began working withg us about 6 months ago. Cancer of the pancreas that has metastasized. We have two more patients that aren't expected to be around much longer either.

It seems there are way to many kill the momma, steal the baby (in utero or out...) stories lately also.

All 3 of them. Sigh. The big two on the bus for a half day. And the Bun, who gets dropped off for her weekly 2.5 hours.
