Momma Drama

I watched the first season of Lost last night...oh my! Was it ever good, I couldn't go to bed until it was done. Pity season #2 doesn't come out until September.
Even bigger pity that Blockbuster Online sent it to me on 12/7/2005 and I'm just NOW watching it!

In a moment of clarity yesterday, it all became so simple. I want to not HAVE to do so much, in order to be able to give more. I'm tired of having SO much to do, that I have nothing left to give. See? Simple.

The Wizard of Oz starts this Thursday. Oh joy! Rapture! Trent has really had fun doing all of this. Rehearsals, set work, painting, etc. Me too actually. I painted the shit out of the yellow brick road the other day.

Only 22 days left to be the Clerk. Yay! I couldn't be any happier with how it's all working out. I will be switching places with a member of the Council. So I'll still be involved like I wanted, but not overwhelmed. This man's wife is the Township Clerk, and the Village's Deputy Clerk. Can you see how I just might have very little, to NO training to do? Oh joy! Rapture!

Dave is allergic to our new kittens, go figure. I'm not sure how that happened, since he was fine when we had 2 adult cats. I just gave them both a bath, and am waiting for them to dry off so I can apply the "Aller-Pet" liquid. It's supposed to help. Hopefully it will so we don't have to get rid of them. Or Dave with his wheezy self. ;)

Devin is on her second cast and a brand new shitty attitude. I must say I am looking forward to her vacation downstate. Her mouth...oh my god! I need to figure out what to do....

Maiya? Doing well most days. Talking non stop about her birthday and who can come to her party. Very cute until she got mad with me and told me I wasn't invited. HA! She did some serious back pedalling when I said she couldn't have her party here then.

And lastly, I love my new eyeballs. Having 20/15 vision kind of rocks.

It is done!

The resignation has been given, and accepted. Onward Momma!
I cannot wait to be done with this job.
