Momma Drama

Sunday, February 29, 2004 @ 7:58 AM

Yesterday it was 48* when I headed out to Ben Franklin..........makes me feel kinda fruity, inside and out. Love spring.......can't wait for it to get here. Yesterday was big tease for me though. I know that we still have at least 3 more good snowy winter blasts in store for us. Forty-eight degrees brings out the stupid in folks too......like all the moms walking around with their kids (little kids) with no coats on. It's supposed to be partly sunny and mid 50's today too. We will have to get out for a walk. Then rain on Monday and Tuesday.....rain or snow on Wednesday and Thursday and snow on Friday.

I really need a shower, it just isn't happening with the hot water tank, or lack of the hot water tank...dirty birdie I am. Off to boil some water......;)

Saturday, February 28, 2004 @ 8:40 PM

Yesterday, yesterday...........Dropped Trent off at school, hit the bank to have the bank president sign some papers. I am so glad that Dave is a regular guy with a regular job. This guy was a real slickster......made me feel dirty to shake his hand. Tried to drop my watch off for repair afterwards but they weren't open yet. Drove down to GR for Devin's picture appointment. Did pretty well finding some clothes for her to wear, clearance to boot. Bonus. Ate lunch at Olga's.......yummy! We ended up being 10 minutes late to get Trent from school, how crappy is that........I think I felt worse than he did though.

Today has been draining, all the way around..........last night the kitchen drainpipe leaked while the dishwasher was running. Leaked right down into the basement and down into the fuse box and hot water heater. Great................so today the hot water tank breaker keeps tripping. Come to find out that we need a new tank, can't get that until Tuesday. We have enough warm (not hot mind you...) water in between breaker trips to take about 90 second showers. Yikes.

The kids have all been fired up all day today.........mom and dad are overwhelmed with things lately. Not a very good match up.

I need to figure out if this clerk job is going to pan out or not. I'm finding it really hard to try and work from home, and I'm not quite sure why. I think that when we get our finances under control again, the girls are going to have some regular scheduled daycare days. The finances need to be buckled back down........I figured out the monthly intake/outgo the other day and it is really past time to get back on the budget.

I scrapped last night. :) Need to get some photos up some day I guess.

Off to bed at 9 pm, with my tired, lame, sick self. ;)

Friday, February 27, 2004 @ 6:40 AM

An old one....April 12, 2002

1. What is your favorite restaurant and why? Red Lobster: biscuits and shrimp. Any steakhouse: love a good hunk of red meat. Olgas: salad and lamb.

2. What fast food restaurant are you partial to? Wendys.

3. What are your standards and rules for tipping? At least 15% as long as you get my food to me in a reasonable amount of time and you check on me once.

4. Do you usually order an appetizer and/or dessert? One or the other, depends where I'm eating at.

5. What do you usually order to drink at a restaurant? Coke (pop :) and a water

Need to get off of here and do my nails. Don't ask......I cancelled last weeks appointment. They need serious work.

Need to hit the bank after we drop Trent at school to get some village things signed. Then drop my watch at the jewelers for fixing. Then off to GR to try to find some clothes for Devin to get her pictures taken in. I knew better than to look at Meijers yesterday.........all the fall stuff is gone and the spring stuff is too springy.

Thursday, February 26, 2004 @ 9:44 PM

For Sarah:
What's In My Wallet/Purse:

Sears return receipt for a coffee pot.
Two loose handfuls of Kleenexes.
A ziploc bag with Kleenex.
One breadbag containing two diapers that are now too small for Maiya and a small ziploc bag of wipes.
One ziploc bag of handy wipes and some Avon Skin So Soft wipes.
Another ziploc bag (sensing a trend here...) of wipes.
Trent's phone book. (Small spiral notebook with pictures of the people, their numbers underneath.)
One nail file.
Extra buttons to my new coat.
Sunglasses.
Tape measure.
Bath & Body Works bottle of Eucalyptus Spearmint Aromatherapy.
Neutrogena Anti Itch Moisturizer
Scrap paper.
Ziploc bag of Motrin.
4 black ink pens.
2 red ink pens. Love red...
1 black Sharpie.
1 mechanical pencil
Walgreens gift card.
One business card for the Kitchen & Bath Center.
A roadside assistance card
One ziploc (damn...) bag that contains: 2 small packages of crayons, 2 small notebooks, 8 sheets of stickers, a handful of white paper lunchbags for decorating with the items listed prior, and a handful of pipecleaners.

I hardly ever use my purse. Normally I throw the checkbook in the diaper bag and go.........the diaper bag bit the bullet. Need the purse now.

Off to find a Kleenex. And a ziploc bag..............;)

Wednesday, February 25, 2004 @ 6:05 PM

I think it's going to be drink night at the Snapper house.....
Or 6:30 pm bedtime night.........

Oy! Not coping well today. Head hurts, had to deal with stupidity from the Dr.'s office, Devin is Queen of Whine, Maiya has discovered she can yell...all day long. I cannot wait to end the love affair I have today with my children.

Made a quick and easy dinner of pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni on some nice sliced french bread. Pretty tasty too.

Still need to clean the bathroom...think I'm WHACKIN' it though, in favor or scrapping. I'm so excited. I think I'm about as organized as I'm going to get....at least with my pictures. Dave's are another story, but I need his help and maybe his sister's help too.

I need to go through Trent's bucket of school papers too..........need to do that like some sort of common criminal. Under the cover of darkness, late at night with no witnesses around....and bury it far under the rest of the trash. ;)

Maiya is adorable when she walks........she is so short legged and still has that wide stance for balance. She is so bow-legged looking, looks almost too short to be walking.

Made slight progress on village work. Not motivated at all there....did the easy stuff, just not up to doing the hard stuff today.

Tomorrow I need to hit Meijers for some decent clothes for Devin to wear for her pictures. Need to have her pick a cake too, she doesn't want momma to make one, says she wants Spiderman.

@ 11:42 AM

A~B~C~D~E~F~G

Attitude: Alright, could be better, could be worse. Headachy today...,not helping matters.
Been doing: One hour of photo organizing, folding and putting laundry away, kitchen clean-up, lunch.
Calls to make: Trent's ENT...spit test was low again. Need to find out what we do now.
Dinner plan: Scalloped potatoes and ham
Eating: Pumpkin soup.
Feeling: Lovey towards my hubby. Got an answering machine message with nothing but Extreme's "More Than Words" playing....awww!
Going today: Post office and to pick Trent up from school.

Head is hurting. Could be sinus/migrainey/lack of caffeine...take my pick.

Superhero girl is in full whine mode today.

What came first....Peposodent toothpaste or Pepto Bismal? Doesn't matter, they both taste like crap.

Need to spend 15 minutes cleaning the bathroom 'crazylady' style. ;)

Putting off the village work right now.

Tuesday, February 24, 2004 @ 7:50 PM

Can I just say how grossed out I am at the thought of using the toilet that was just cleaned as a mop bucket? I've heard of this practice a few times now............caca!! Like storing your spoon in your ass after an enema. How hard is it to just use a bucket?

I promise myself that this month I will:
Go to the bathroom alone......lock you all out. Yes indeed.
Get some form of exercise on some type of regular basis.
Do some scrap work for at least an hour each day.

I feeling sick and run down today.......head full of green. :( Need to drink that water, I know I would feel so much better.

I think I'm going to have to hook Devin up with some superhero garb for her birthday. I need to hit Ben Franklin or Meijers this weekend for fabric. My idea of a cape has outgrown the plain black felt I have here already......

Made great progress on the Village work today, should probably get off of here and try to continue it. I'd much rather go lay down and read though.

ARGH!!!! I hate when I do this, whatever it is...........when you have a typo and when you try to fix it you just can't add the letter you are missing. It erases each next letter.....I end up having to re-type the whole sentence or paragraph. Somebody, please tell me how to fix that when it happens....I'll give you $5!!

Well, I think I'll go catch up on the magazines and various other piddley reading things I have sitting in the living room. I did not renew my subscriptions to Nails magazine, Family Fun magazine, or The Big Backyard for Trent.........they really have a way of piling up. Need to take a year off!

Monday, February 23, 2004 @ 7:32 PM

Hmmmmm. It has snowed. All. Day. Long. Big loads of it. Big, fat, fluffy flakes. Looks like the yard was never cleared of it the first 5 times. Sigh. 25 days until spring, whoo hoo!!!

So. He says "I have Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. I plan to devote those days entirely to home improvement projects." "Super." I say...................he is the master of pissing time away doing not a darn thing. And so it went like it usually does. We managed to get some paint up on the walls in one room and I put one border up. He has no self confidence for these type of projects. He grew up with his Dad calling him stupid when it came to these things......so I always tread very lightly. For 15 years now, I have given him small, easy projects that will bolster his self esteem in this area. Never saying anything negative to or about him. But then he goes and does STUPID shit. As always. One wall in the girls room had a drywall patch done to it, so there was joint compound that got spilled onto the lower section of the wall. The lower wall is covered in hunter green wallpaper. We are working in the room, I tell him the next thing we need to do is wash down the wallpaper and get the joint compound off of the one wall. Guess which wall he starts washing first? Then uses the joint compounded dirty ass water to wash the rest of the walls. Me? I'm putting border up, not hawk-eyeing him like I should have been I guess. I'm left with nice big white swirls in all of the green wallpaper.............."What.........." he says. What indeed! I tell him to sand to rough spots in the window trim where they had taken the trim off when we got new windows. He sands one window. "Did you sand the second one?" I say....... "I forgot." is his answer. Honestly.............that is just a small sliver of how home projects go around here. I swear to heaven and back that I will do nothing else with him again.

Need to go to the nursing home tomorrow and see what kind of days they have for me that I can pick up.

Need to finish up meeting minutes tomorrow, or tonight and do some small, piddley village stuff.

This dog of ours either has really big gonads or he is just one big dumbass. Caught him on the couch tonight while we were eating dinner.

Devin's birthday is coming up...........I have no clue what to get her. She needs nothing. Maybe a new pair of jeans and that's about it. She is on a really big "Superhero" kick.....I think maybe a nice "SuperDevin" cape may just be in order. Since I finally got a new belt for my sewing machine. Yay!! She gets her pictures taken this Friday.

I scrapped today, and I had fun doing it!

I love Miss Doxie. She makes me belly laugh.

Quote of the Day:
"Meanie, Iney, Oh.
Take a tacko by the O,
If he hollers wet him go.
Call me superhero......."
~Devin. Yes indeed. Figure that one out.

Saturday, February 21, 2004 @ 5:00 PM

I will never.
Ever.
Nevernevernever.
Do another thing.
No matter how small.
And simple.
That is home repair/improvement related.
With my husband.
Ever again.

When was the last time you...

1. ...went to the doctor? January 27th.

2. ...went to the dentist? The 10th of this month for a cleaning.

3. ...filled your gas tank? Yesterday.

4. ...got enough sleep? Wednesday night.

5. ...backed up your computer? Erm...never.

Dual Quotes For The Day:
"Where is my Magnadoodledoo?"
"I can't have wrinkled sheets, cause then my feet are wrinkled too..."~Devin

@ 7:01 AM

Ahhhhh......a good nights sleep. Whoo hoo!

Two hour school delay due to fog today.

I found the W-2 error right off last night and it's an easy enough fix. Yay!

Off the make that fix, then make banana pancakes for the troops.

The plan is to hang out today until the exit pow-wow with the auditors then head to Home Depot (love, love, love that place...can't say it enough. Want to work there probably.) to buy paint and look and see what type of borders they have.

Wednesday, February 18, 2004 @ 8:44 PM

And I wish it was Thursday already......

@ 8:20 PM

Wow.
I need a vacation.

Yesterday the mom in me, the clerk in me and the wife in me all had a head-on collision. That all ended with me strapping on my boots, throwing my coat on, and barging out the back door to get the fuck out of dodge. Or "work on my manners" as I tell Trent. You would think that you could expect a smidgen of extra help around the homestead if you are busting your butt getting the records in order for the village audit. Instead I get a man who looks at me stupid when I say "What do you want to do about dinner?" Why does he look at me stupid? Because at 7 am that morning I said "Maybe I'll try my hand at fried chicken if I get this village stuff done early enough." I guess he didn't notice that I wasn't freaking done. By a long shot. Shortly after that go around I noticed that there was a spilled glass of apple juice on the dining room table and all the village invoices that I needed for today were sucking up the juice like a Bounty paper towel. Guess who's juice that was? I give you three tries, and the first two don't count!

Anywhoo.............audit this morning. Went pretty well at first, we were released to go home and field any calls that might have. They called in the afternoon. Myself, the deputy clerk and the treasurer ended up having to back over there this afternoon. Bad news...while the total money for the year balances down to the penny (YAY!!!), the system that we use on the 6 different checking accounts needs a serious overhaul. Caca!!! They can't finish the audit until we get that done, hopefully by next week. I was over there for 2 hours. Ugh, all three kids were in tow, until the first hour passed and the kids got restless so I called the neighbors to get them out of there.

Got home too late to be worrying about dinner. Walked all of us over to the restraurant. WHICH WAS CLOSED!!! Early I might add. Walked everyone home and tossed them into the car and took them elsewhere. Maiya discovered the joy of drinking from a big cup tonight. She would not shut-up if I let her 1/8" of water run out..........

Need to re-group and get started on some of these village repairs and figure out one W-2 that is wrong.

And damn....am I ever thirsty. That never happens.

Tuesday, February 17, 2004 @ 7:38 AM

Straight from the Inbox.....I think this is called cheating, but it's too cute to pass up and actually have to blog instead:
Memo To All Pets

Dear Dogs and Cats, when I say move, it means go someplace else, not switch positions with each other so there are still two of you in the way.

The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish; nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Beating me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help because I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king-size bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue to sleep on the couch to ensure your comfort. Look at videos of dogs and cats sleeping. They can actually curl up in a ball. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space used is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob, or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered. In addition, I have been using the bathroom for years. Canine or feline attendance is not mandatory.

The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dogs or cats' butt. I cannot stress this enough. It would be such a simple change for you.

To pacify you I have posted the following message on our front door.....

Rules for Non-pet owners who visit and like to complain about our pets:
1. They live here. You don't.
2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture.
3. I like my pet better than I like most people.
4. To you it's an animal. To me he/she is an adopted son/daughter who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly. Dogs and cats are better than kids. They eat less, don't ask for money all the time, and are easier to train. They usually come when called, never drive your car, don't hang out with drug using friends, don't drink or smoke, don't worry about buying the latest fashions, don't wear your clothes, and don't need a gazillion dollars for college.

Anyone else?

Friday, February 13, 2004 @ 9:18 AM

Heading downstate for a Red Wing game tomorrow....Happy Valentines Day to you all.
See you soon.

Thursday, February 12, 2004 @ 12:57 PM

I am one sick chicken...........this blog is sooo damn funny. I most certainly should be working and not laughing my ass off over this one.

@ 9:08 AM

TODAY:
I LIKE: Bakery french bread toasted and slathered in butter. Collective Soul. The peace and quiet kindergarten and daycare provide me.
I DISLIKE: Slippery roads. The too small kindergarten center parking lot. The peace and quiet kindergarten and daycare provide me.

Hi ho, hi ho.....it's off to the village work I go............

Wednesday, February 11, 2004 @ 7:52 PM

My inbox is empty!! YAY!!! I cannot tell you how infrequently that happens. I have to type out one 'new mail.' I am so bad with e-mails. Too much commitment for a hermit like myself. I like the in and out fast strike of the forum life I guess.

I worked my tail feather off all day today on village stuff. Oy! The meeting is Monday, the audit is Wednesday. Need to do the bills, the agenda, the bill sheets, print off more audit stuff. Need to be across the room at the village computer instead of on this one.

Still have three loads of laundry to fold, and cookies to frost.

The girls are going to daycare tomorrow so I can get this village stuff finished before we head down state on Friday. We are coming back late on Sunday so I need this stuff done so I'm not scrambling when I get home, that would do nothing for me other than give me a migraine.....Need to pack tomorrow too. We are going to the Red Wings game on Saturday, whoo hoo. They are playing Colorado, excellent match up!

Worked on some more pictures today. I can't believe how much damage has been done in a few short years of being in the albums. :(

Off to frost cookies.

Tuesday, February 10, 2004 @ 7:26 PM

I'm loving the 7 pm bedtime people!!!

This morning Devin and I were out the door (in a snowstorm mind you) at 9 am to head to the dentists. Got my teeth cleaned, and finally decided to bite the financial bullet and get them bleached professionally. Can't remember when that appointment is.

Next we drove (in a snowstorm) to the shop where Devin got her haircut and I got a color.

Then we had lunch at the pizza joint. Did I say I was back on the healthy eating wagon? What a liar I am....

Next we drove to the library (in a snowstorm) to return the movies. Then hit the post office and came home.

The Snapper 5 whipped through the house straightening it up, then made Valentines cookies. Those need to be frosted tomorrow.

Had dinner, got folks jammied, brushed, washed and bedded down.

Need to go work on village junk.....audit stuff, state income tax stuff, recording deposits, and paying bills.

Then I'll give Dave a manicure....shhhhhh, don't let him know that you know. ;) Then on to pictures, then read some.

Night all!!

Monday, February 09, 2004 @ 12:04 PM

The OC monster in me is bucking very hard to rear it's ugly head lately...........caca!! I've been able to keep it at bay for the most part though.

Need a new routine around here though. Maiya has reached the age where she gives up that big long morning nap. :( Today I fed her and Devin lunch at 11 am, and put Maiya down for what I hope turns out to be a 3 hour afternoon slumber. Dinner time is getting moved up due to the earlier lunch and the evening meltdowns compliments of Devin. I'm hoping to have all my little people tucked in around 7 pm. They have been going to bed at that time for the last few days, and it's really worked out better.

Worked on pictures this morning. Oy.....my sweet little baby boy when he was about a year old. He seems so big now. :(

Need to get cracking on Village stuff today. I did the obligatory 2 loads of laundry already. Need to come up with some magic powers to help me change the Thanksgiving turkey leftovers into something divine for dinner. Wish me luck there!

Want to get on the exercise bike today too....I was a good girl and walked Trent to school this morning. I've got a little bit of water in, and we won't talk about me eating Combos and sugar cookies for lunch........

Quote of the Day: "What do you mean? You're the mom....you're supposed to know stuff."~Devin

Sunday, February 08, 2004 @ 8:22 PM

So...yesterday (Saturday) was a cleaning day. I managed to enlist the help of the whole family and we did our own version of "Clean Sweep." I cooked up a huge pot of Katie's Creamy Chicken Noodle soup for dinner. Half of it went to the neighbors, along with some biscuits and peanut butter cookies. I needed to do something since they were so good to me while I was sick. Then we all watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, until folks started dropping off like flies. They don't make 'em like they used to............that movie is 2 hours and 24 minutes long. Good grief! Who knew, until I popped it in at 7:30 pm.

Today has been a goof off day........I did photo organizing. The year 2000 was a toughie!! Dave took Devin ice skating...Trent decided to stay here with me. I had to make it as un-enjoyable as possible without making him miserable...maybe next time he will opt to go with Dad. ;) Neighbors brought over cookies today in return.....ugh!!! I hate to keep score but damn...we are always behind on the favors and nice stuff............I cut Trent's and Dave's hair. Kids all got baths. Worked on Valentines with Trent for his party on Thursday.

Off to do more pictures. I see a light at the end of this tunnel.

Quote of the Day (concept shamelessly blog lifted from Katie): "You really are happier when your house is clean aren't you?"~Dave

@ 11:47 AM

Just keep organizing, just keep organizing.........
These pictures are a pain in the penis!! I cannot wait to get to the fun, scrapping part.
Need to blog. Need to catch up on e-mails. Need to do a lot of things....later.
Happy Sunday to all.

Saturday, February 07, 2004 @ 11:20 AM

Not sure if Dave is the ogre or the donkey last night and today.........

Friday, February 06, 2004 @ 8:51 PM

Boring day.
Village work, post office, bank, library, lunch at Wendy's, kitchen and bath place, Meijers, home.
Going upstairs to read and hit the hay.

@ 6:16 AM

Snow, freezing drizzle and fog are all called for today.
Joy.
Good news is that it wasn't pitch dark at 6:15 pm last night........
This too shall pass.

Thursday, February 05, 2004 @ 7:56 PM

Be warned......my brain is jitterbuggin' tonight!

Got home from the Dr. appointment at 6:30 pm. Crunch time then took place. Dinner for 3 kiddies, baths for three kiddies, nail clipping for three kiddies, teeth brushing for three kiddies, and three kiddies in bed by 7:45 pm. Thought I was kidding when I said 'too much coffee' huh?

Unsoftened well water:
Stinks. When you wash your hands, when you brush your teeth, when you wash dishes, when you wash clothes, when you shower.
Doesn't lather. When you wash your hands, your hair, your dishes, your clothes.
Stains. Your sinks, your toilet, your bathtub, your shower curtains, your laundry.
Tastes like shit. When you drink it, when you make coffee with it, when you make juice with it, when you brush your teeth with it.

The handy guy fixed the water softener yesterday so it will never freeze up again. I can't even begin to tell you how exciting this is to me..........

All the handy guy work is done. Now Dave and I can:
Paint Devin and Maiya's room and re-border it.
Paint Trent's room and re-border it. Prime and paint the closet and new shelving unit in the closet.
Paint the kitchen, then get back to stripping the floor and finishing it.
Do some sanding in the bathroom, then re-paint and re-border (or not) it. Put a vanity in there possibly then finish the tile job on the floor.
Clean out the attic.
That ought to keep us out of trouble for awhile.

Please explain what is wrong with this statement: "If she didn't plan on exposing her breast, why would she have that nipple shield/cover over it? HELLO........why in the hell would anyone ever get anything pierced if the plan was not to wear the ring/barbell/earring/piercing?

Spent 2 hours and 15 minutes at Trent's Dr. appointment today. This is a bad thing.
He has another sinus infection....#4. Bad thing.
All three kids had excellent manners. Good thing.
We got KFC outta the deal. Good thing.
I did major photo organizing today. Good.
I'm on fire to do more tonight. Even better.
Maiya put a whole double roll of Northern in the full tub. Bad.
And Trent's belt. Worse.
She sure was cute about it though.
Dave is home tomorrow. Good.
Tomorrow is payday. Good.
Grocery shopping tomorrow to restock the healthy food. Very good.

@ 9:19 AM

Too much coffee...............
Today so far since 5 am I have:
Had sex.
Had coffee.
Taken a big chunk out of the "preparing for village audit" to-do list.
Checked out the forums and blogs.
Got three kids up and dressed. (Before taking Trent to school even..)
Fed three kids.
Cleaned up a shit-laced dog puke mess. (Yes, that's right...shit as in feces. He eats his own poop on occasion. That should squelch the bleeding hearts who wonder how in gods name I can give the family pet away.......)
Packed Trent's lunch.
Loaded three kids into the car and took Trent to school.
Loaded the dishwasher.
Done one load of laundry, it is drying right now. Second load is washing.
Decided what is for dinner and pulled it from the freezer.
Unplugged the large freezer in preparation to take the few things out and put into the fridge freezer.
Vacuumed the dining room.
Taken a shower.
Cleaned out under the kitchen sink.
Started the all day process of running tap water through the Brita pitcher, then filling gallon jugs with the water from the Brita.
Told Devin to "stop whining" about 27 times.
Pulled 9 foreign objects from Maiya's mouth.
Put Maiya down for a nap.
Weighed myself . (Yikes!)

Wednesday, February 04, 2004 @ 12:45 PM

I LOVE:

Bit-O-Honey candy.
Spring, driving fast and very loud music, all at the same time.
Fresh cut flowers.
Good, hot coffee.
Cherries, warm from the sun.
Feta cheese.
Nine Inch Nails and White Zombie.
The old Chevy Monte SS's.
The colors red, black and dark green.
Spring in general.
That first fall day....but only the first.
The smell of a campfire.
Home Depot.
The housewares aisle of any store that has one.
Chocolate cake with chocolate mint frosting.
Cheeze-It's.

Village stuff, and more village stuff. Good gawd..........it never stops. Good thing I'm getting a paycheck!

Nail appointment today.........they look smashing if I do say so myself. I love having them, and having them done. It's so not like me to be so girlie about something.

Trent has....drum roll please...........another sinus infection. Damn, I am so sick of it this winter. He must be too. He goes to the Dr. on Thursday.

Cat goes to the vet's on Friday...shot time.

Need to go give stinky bunny a bath right now.....the other two lovelies are already in bed. Daddy got a full dose of them today. He looks a bit weary. ;)

I think it's going to be a hockey watching, picture organizing, ice cream eating night here. Got a boatload of the sewing done last night. Just three more items to go and those can wait.

Snowed some more today. Need I say more? Actually, this morning when I walked Trent to school there were birds singing. It was odd......felt like spring, except for the 6' piles of snow at the intersections.

Bunny's diaper calls..............

Again...where do these days go? Good grief, it's 4 p.m. already. Got Trent up and off to school this morning. Went to the library and bank from there. Hit the grocery store for drinking water, then to the post office and home. Got Maiya dressed once we got here.....this is the only good thing about needing snowsuits...nobody knows if the kids are actually dressed yet. ;) Put her down for a nap, did some village work. I've worked on laundry today and cleaned off my scrapbooking table. Did the lunch gig.....picked Trent up, switched out the notices at town hall.

Handy guy was here. The shelving unit he is constructing in Trent's closet is really looking good. He had very good news for me today too.........the water softener line to the outside can be rigged so that it won't continue to freeze up this winter. YAY!! Then in the spring, the actual improvement/repair to this bastard problem will take place.

I should have never told Dave yesterday that Janet Jackson and Kid Rock was my idea of a great threesome........gheez Louise, I'm never going to hear the end of this. And that was pre boob. Apparently I've hit upon an area of interest. ;)

Want to deal with some sewing tonight. Maybe file these nails down for tomorrow's appointment. Fear factor is on..yay! Dinner is done...last nights crap food. Coney dogs, chips and guacamole, deli potato salad. Can't wait to get rid of that stuff. I bought lettuce today. Yum!

YAY!!!
No headache this morning.
Great sex.
Cake for breakfast.
A trip to Home Depot. (Love that place)
A Trip to Meijers for a Bunn coffee pot.
Lunch at Ruby Tuesdays.
Superbowl food for dinner.
Survivor tonight.
What could be better..............?

Okay, so maybe my eating habits could be better. Tomorrow, I promise. I have fallen off the wagon something horrible. Need to get it together, and get back to drinking my water, and start exercising. Yikes!!

Yesterday I had "the guys" bring the computer hutch from the village barn and moved everything out of the desk into that instead. I was so damn tired of pulling paper clips, and bills, and envelopes, and checkbooks out of Maiya's mouth. This will be so much better, it has two doors that close and can be secured if need be.

Bought two new lamps today, hopefully Maiya won't take them out. The Bunn coffee pot ROCKS!!! (Meijers has two types of Mellita's on sale this week Shelly....do you have a Meijers?)

Come on up Roni.......about 2,000 sq. ft. of living space for under $80K. Think of all the sledding we could do. Ha!

Off to change yet another shitty diaper..........only about 18 more months of that hopefully. ;) And change the sheets in the crib since Miss Thingydingy decided to take her diaper off at nap time.........ah the life.

@ 8:21 AM

Happy Sunday all!!! :)
