Momma Drama

These weeks are long anymore....

...I miss my honey at night, I miss him having days off during the week. *Sigh*

The massage was wonderful....I felt so good when I got out of there. I think laying on my stomach for so long helped drain my sinus cavities, which was a welcome relief from the last week.

The kitchen is finally clean, no more sanding dust that I can see. I cannot find marine varnish to seal the floor with though. Wrong time of year I guess. I have to scrub it, then get something on it to seal it until next spring. Hopefully then I will be able to find what I'm looking for. Just need to swap out the light fixture, put a few shelves up and order this and that room will be done. (And a big whoo hoo there, last week it was listed for $119.)

The only thing left to do in the guest/village room is to wash down the walls and get the closet back together, minus the extra crap. I think my crafting things are going in the closet too. I'm turning into one of those gals that has tons of 'stuff', but doesn't do anything with it......

Dining room need some touch up on the walls, and some on the floor too.

The upstairs baseboards is a one day project, but requires two people to do it. We ripped off all the wallpaper and border out of the girls' room the other day. Now what will Maiya do for fun? It's the only other room that really should be gutted and re-drywalled. After Christmas.....

I have a few minor wall repairs to do in our room, then texture paint the ceiling. New light fixture/ceiling fan goes in there too.

So, I think that just leaves a repair to the plaster on the stairway.

I have WHACKED all the outdoor projects (with the exception of leaf raking and putting things away in the garage) until Spring. Yay me! What do I care if the front door is green, and the side door is still gray? I cannot see it unless I go outside, or make a point to drive around the front of the house. ;) What do I care if only a few of the porch uprights have been painted white, and the resat are still gray? Fageddaboutit! I'm starting to live like some sort of hick....

I need to measure 12 windows for shades. Soon. Befor that breakfast cart goes back up in price.

That leaves me from now until the end of May to pull the rest of the garage sale items.

My goal is to have this all done by the end of the month. Chop, chop!

Have a great weekend all!
