Momma Drama

Thursday, January 22, 2004 @ 5:43 PM

Okay then..........enough Imitrex, colby cheese and Mt. Dew will put a person back in business. Of course said person will be hopped up all night on the mixture. Yay, I'll be sorting some serious pictures tonight. :)

Maiya decided to sample the rock salt I had put in the house earlier. It was frozen outside, needed to thaw. No more peeing for me......baby eats crap and I call poison control. Yikes.

Just caught up with the blog comments, need to get better about those. I have actually been staying away from the computer a bit, it was getting to be too much time on here. Think I'm back now though. ;)

The girls are going to daycare tomorrow...mainly for Dave's sake. Poor guy, he never gets a day at home without the constant whining and chatter either. We are rearranging the rooms, shouldn't take too long. The old guest room is going to be the playroom, since the toys don't stay in the playroom anyways. They are forever in the living room.....need to move them farther from the living room. That way the kids can have all their little bits and pieces and parts in there with the door closed when Maiya is up. I'm tired of retrieving shit out of her mouth. Of course I wouldn't have to if people would use their God given brain and not buy the bigger kids toys that have 50 million microscopic parts. But that is a whole other rant isn't it? Besides it's too soon for those toys and pieces to 'disappear' without the kids noticing. Give me another month or so. Anyways....I feel like a bad momma for pushing the kids further away from the living room, but I think it's going to be reserved for quiet activities.....TV watching, reading, puzzles, etc. It's getting really annoying to have the TV on full blast on the rare occasion I have it on, just so I can hear over the din.

(Interesting.......the spell check wants me to change the word 'peeing' to penis. Is this some sort of hint.......?)

Anywhoo..........if Trent doesn't have school, he'll be going to daycare also.

Finally took pictures outside today of the kids and all the snow. I damn near shoveled my hiney off today, even after I had 'the guy' come and plow out the driveway.

Handy guy is coming tomorrow to finish up Trent's closet. All the plaster had to come down, so tomorrow he drywalls and puts some built in shelves in there. Moving right along.

I not done here, but the kids really should eat since they missed lunch. Imagine their surprise when they realized that. I'm tired of repeating myself over and over. Guess next time they will pick up the toys. (Of course they had a mid-morning and afternoon snack so they aren't wasting away.......)
