So, I think my New Years resolution is going to be to Blog every day.........

Because I cannot remember what happened on Monday.......
Tuesday~ Trent went to school and I took the girls to daycare. Whoo Hoo!! Between Monday and Tuesday I kicked some tail on Village stuff. A bunch of little things that I kept putting off, because there were bigger things to do. I'm just about caught up with all of it now. Yay!

Wasted a slew of time messing around cooking and freezing pumpkin, and making turkey broth those days also. Wish I wasn't so frugal sometimes. Been working on Christmas stuff here and there. The best thing I did the other night was go through my recipe books and PITCH stuff!!! Gawd...what a mess those were. I threw out every recipe that I haven't tried yet. My throw away stack was double the size of my keep stack. Yes I know.......I have too much time on my hands, or I'm obsessive, something. Those recipe books were making me crazy!! Now, just need to put them back together.

Yesterday Devin and I tried to make a cake for the new neighbors........it flopped. :( My best pound cake too, don't know what happened. Guess we will have to eat it. So we tried again, with a chocolate cake. When it was done, I left it in the oven with the heat off....duh. Two flops in one day, what gives?!?

Dave came home early from his hunting vacation yesterday. No deer. :(

The girls are scheduled to go to daycare today again. With Dave home now, we are going to Grand Rapids to do some Christmas shopping. Not too much to do really....we need to hit Toys R Us for gift certificates and gifts for our kiddies, Target for regular household stuff, and boxes so I can mail my swaps, Joanns for Christmas coffee mugs, and we are going to Macaroni Grill for lunch. Yay! I'm going to stop at one of the little foreign nail places and have them do my nails too. Big no-no for me really........I can do my own, they are overdue from missing last weeks appointment with my girlfriend. I just hate doing my own. That's whay I do the gf's and she does mine, and it costs me nothing. So today I'll be paying for someone to use illegal product on me......but it will be fast, about 40 minutes. And they won't lift for about 6-8 weeks.....that's why their product isn't supposed to be used in the US. I'll hand file in the car on the way down, that way they won't need to put their electric file on my natural nail. Yikes!!

The kids are looking forward to Christmas.......I need to finish decorating in here. Maybe this weekend. Trent has another sinus infection...:( He goes to the Dr.'s tomorrow. He doesn't have school tomorrow for some reson. Devin is right as rain now after her sinus/ear infections. And baby Maiya? Well she just makes me crazy anymore!! She is into EVERYTHING!!!! All the time...........the Village papers, the library books, the toilet, the scrapbooking stuff, the dog food, the cat food, the Play-Doh, the trash. She is going to find herself living in the exersaucer pretty soon. And she climbs out of the highchair the little shit! I have caught her twice on the table. The seatbelt couldn't be any tighter around her middle, I have to push her belly in to snap it and yet she still manages to wiggle out. UGH! She is funny though........she can think and listen and respond now. She is so cute to watch...........she'll be chewing some form of garbage and I'll say "Give it here......." and you can see the wheels turning in her head....'should I swallow it? Or give it to her?' then she'll stick her tongue out so I can retrieve the item. Or when I tell her to 'sit down' at the table, she will look at me.......arch her eyebrows up into an upside down "V", clench her fists and thrust her arms down all pissy and say "Enh."

DAMNIT!!!!!! I just lost a whole paragraph!! Ugh..........not doing it again right now. Need more coffee before I wake up the household to get everyone ready to go. Maybe I'll update tonight........
