Momma Drama

I need to make out the bills today and get them mailed. Late, late, late. What happened?!?!

The kids are going to Miss Pam's today at 9 a.m. Dave is off and we are going to pull the drywall off the rafters in the attic. Something that should have been done this summer after we re-did the roof. What a mess that will be, as each piece of drywall comes down, then the insulation behind it there will be a shower of nails and shingle bits from the roofing job. Good thing we have a huge tarp to lay down up there. Then the attic can be swept up, and I can de-clutter my Christmas things and box up what I'm keeping and get it put away.

I'm feeling really behind due to the holidays and company and such. I hate that feeling, my anal, obsessive self starts to kick in making it much worse than it has to be.........every room in this house needs some serious attention right now, not even sure where to start. And I need to get the Council checks made out. Plus the Village Asshole has me on another wild goose chase........meeting minutes for Jan/Feb/March/April/May of 1999 (!??!?!?), and copies of the budgets from 99/00/01/02, and "The meeting minutes where the Council approved the improvements to Hope's house, and the minutes where they approved the bill for those improvements...." I asked if she could narrow down a time frame for me on those.........."Summer, 2001 or 2002" SUPERFREAKINFANTASTIC!!!!!!!! (Hope is the old Clerk who had work done in her house at the Village's expense, which was not right, but the Council approved it so..........) The good news is that I technically do not have to go on a wild goose chase for those according to the Deputy Clerk......she has to know what she wants me to look for as far as dates.......I'm sure that won't fly with the Village Idiot though. Anywhoo, I've got all that going on........I need about 4 days to get on top of things, and I've got more company coming tomorrow. Is it wrong to just want to re-claim my house?

Dave brought home Trent's CT report yesterday........septal deviation and what appears to be a nose full of polyps. I need to call the ped today and see where we go from here, other than the allergy testing on the 16th. My poor guy!!! I really thought that they wasn't going to be anything that came of the cat scan..........

Dave has a phone interview with the TN folks today. YAY!!! I hate to really get my hopes up, but damn I want to move south!!!!!!

Getting ready to start the whole low fat, healthy, try to exercise deal in a few days. Gawd, how I hate doing it!!!!!!!!! Need to though..........

Off to get more coffee for the big day ahead...........
