Momma Drama

ARGH!!!
My head hurts. It's been hurting for days now. Sinus issues, weather/migraine issues. All of the above issues. Crap I wish it would stop. It's not going to today though, it's wet outside and windy as hell........it's making the house creak on the inside.

Yesterday was supposed to be a productive day. Not so much. Maiya stayed home instead of going to daycare, and Dave spent just about all day on the phone with recruiters and phone interviews. He goes to Indiana next Tuesday for an interview. This would be at a big city hospital, with cutting edge technogology which he is really missing. Country living is great and all, but he's feeling stagnant now. Not challenged. Tired of driving an hour home in a blizzard after working a 13 hour shift. Feeling taken advantage of since he took the new position last spring for no pay increase "at that time", and yet still no pay increase with this last yearly evaluation. IN isn't what I had in mind, but I'm not the working person am I? ;) I'm pretty sure that can be any more snow in Elkhart, IN than there is here anyways. The good thing about IN is that we could still live in Michigan, and that way I wouldn't have to take another nursing exam or nail exam for licensure. Or go back to school, if IN's requirements are more than MI's in both nursing and nails. Not that school is bad, just not my idea of fun right now. Of course we still hope to hear back from the TN people too. Arizona was mentioned in passing yesterday also....

This house is a total and complete wreck, with the exception of the living room. Wonder if I can stay in there all day today. Yesterday's work in the attic was slow going between phone calls, and being side tracked. We ended up bringing down all the garage sale stuff, pricing it and toting it to the basement. My legs are so sore. Too much stair action yesterday. The drywall and insulation is all down from the rafters now though, so the roof can 'breathe'.....I need to get back in there and get all the drywall off to the side than re-clean the whole room. Complete with washing any clothing/bedding/coats that are there because my dear husband didn't want to take the time to lay the tarp over top of the target areas. So now the whole room is full of nails and shingle shit....tiny pieces and dust from the roof tear off. Joy. That project is not happening today. Instead, I need to take the dining room table leg off, and troubleshoot why the fricking thing is so loose that the whole table is wobbling........Ashley furniture is some overpriced shitty stuff I tell ya!! Also need to do some serious cleaning up around here, the Christmas decorations and tree are down so that is good. Think I'm going to have to limit myself to an allotted amount of cleaning time today...otherwise I'd go all day and where's the fun in that?

Not doing very well with the healthy eating so far.......but have managed to lose a 1/2#.

Shit and hellfire......I do not have a good feeling about today. Devin has been up all of 10 minutes and I've had to holler three times about whining already.......gawd help me. And her.

Need to make out the checks for the Village people today too. I've already spent a good hour and a half doing piddly Village stuff, catch up paperwork and making copies of things that the VI requested.

Well, let the games begin...........
