Dirty laundry and spare time...

...which do I have more of right now? Look! look over there, to the right-----> See something missing? Woot! I moved all the Village crap outta here last week. I thought I'd have a little bit of summer left with the kids, but it has really cooled off. The leaves have been changing colors for a few weeks now and are starting to fall! Eek!

The washing machine took a final crap recently. It has been replaced with a 3.5 cu ft front loading bad boy. Oh how nice it is...I can now do laundry about once a week.

Yesterday we went through and seperated the girls winter and summer clothes. We were way overdue. They are both set for school (1st grade and preschool) with the exception of shoes. Still need to do Trent and his clothes. School starts on 9-5-06 for all 3. The Bunny is so excited! She'll go once a week for 2.5 hours. Long enough for me to grocery shop I guess.

Today we are taking one of the kittens back to my co-worker. Hopefully that will be enough to allow Dave to breathe easily. I feel bad that he has to go, but yesterday he was responsible for me having 3 cats and 2 birds loose in the house all at the same time.

It has been rainy all weekend (migraine city!), bad news for the kids. Dave picked up yesterday and today at the old job, so he's gone all weekend. I think we'll rent some movies this afternoon.

Oy!

I have a ton of Village work to do and NO desire to do it. I only have 7 days left...I'm on vacation from the real job this week, and don't want to spend the whole week working my ass off. Whine, whine, whine.

I need to gather up the kiddies and head to the laundry mat in about a half hour. The washer has taken it's final dump. I think we are heading out to Lowes tomorrow night to buy a new one. After I wash the clothes, the kids are headed for daycare. Then I get to come home and buckle down on the Village work for two hours before I go work the second half of Election Day.

Tomorrow is run errands day (jewelry store to have my necklace repaired, JC Pennys for bra shopping, pick up the last two Wizard of Oz shirts, lunch out and Dev's Dr. appointment.) I think I'll drop off the largest and smallest at daycare, and just do all that with Dev. She'll get her cast off tomorrow and the wires removed as far as I know. Hopefully she will not be re-casted! Tomorrow afternoon I'll have my girlfriends granddaughter come over and play with the kids outside (or in, weather depending) while I do...***drumroll please***...Village work! Whitney came over last week and did that, it worked out wonderfully. I need to call my co-worker tomorrow and arrange to have her take the two kittens back also. Unfortunately, Dave is allergic to them, so it will be heartbreak city around here for awhile.

Thursday or Friday will be beach day, depends on what day my friend Kerry can go. She's back from Italy for a bit related to work visa stuff. After this 'vacation', she'll go back and do her work externship for culinary school. Thursday night is hair and nail appointment for me. Yay! Nails that I don't have to do. :) I've been doing a bunch of gals from work lately. I have no desire to do my own right now.

We are supposed to go camping this weekend, I need to plan and pack accordingly sometime this week for that.

I really should try to squeeze in some painting/room putting back together time, but it's not looking good. There's always after school starts I guess. Maiya will be big enough for once a week preschool this year to boot.

We went down state this last weekend. We had to pick Devin up from her VBS week long vacation with my mom and sister. We also checked in on Dave's parents. They are up in MI now, staying for good. What a nightmare it all is...Dad needs 24 hour care, but Dave's sister had then buy a trailer in a park near her and is now busting her ass, because he needs 24 hour care! Dave said he needed 24 hour care and offered to get him in up here into the nursing home close to us. Then his mom could be some place between us and his sister. But no. Denise thought for sure we were going to spend the night at their parents on Saturday when we were there. Ha! When we went down to FL last year, Dev and Maiya were nipped at by the dogs. This time, one of the (5!!!) dogs chased Trent down and tried to bite him. Idiots. But OMG...Dave's mom is carrying on about having Christmas over there. Pity we shant be going. I really think we should go to Vegas for Christmas this year.
