Leaving...

...this morning to go downstate to do Christmas. I scored an extra day off work yesterday, so we don't have to come back until Monday. In time for the Village meeting.

The kids officially started their Christmas break yesterday. I have to work Tuesday and Thursday of next week, then I'm on break with them. I have 11 days off. Woot! Between the way the holidays fell, and my Dr. taking two days off, I only had to find someone to work 1 day for me to make that happen. Can I just say that taking the $4.50/hour pay cut was almost worth it?

I think we are just about ready for Christmas. I need to wrap the things for today still. I also need to finish the ornaments for the Council members for Monday. I (Dave & I...) have to wrap all the kid's presents, and I need to stop at the scrapbooking store next week and get two gift certificates. The tree is up, but is light and ornamentless still...maybe we'll get to that on Monday. Any baking that gets done will be minimal.

I bought a digital camera the other day, just need to read the directions now. The regular camera took one picture and rewound the whole rest of the roll of film. It did that with two rolls of film. I forgot to take it in to be checked when we bought the digital.

Devin had her Christmas program the other day, and got to be a bell ringer. So cute!

We took the kids to Sears to get their pictures taken, I'm really pleased at how they came out. I'll post them another day. I actually had to bust out in tears over one of Devin...I'm pitiful.

I've started thinking about how to make Maiya a pink bunny cake for her birthday, 11 days from now. And Dave and & I have scored the 4.5' windmill that is her present. She is nutty over every windmill she sees. In people's yards, on T.V., etc. It's crazy.

That's it for now. Have a great weekend!

We only have 13 patients scheduled for today so far. Not sure how that happened...we'll see just how many we end up with at the end of the day.

My Christmas shopping is done with the exception of finishing up the Snapperettes.

This coming weekend will be picture day at Sears, cut and decorate the tree, and
some baking.

Happy Tuesday all!

Does this post count for something?

My Dr. and I saw 31 patients today. Thirty one! Holy vital signs Batman...
